Saw them twice this weekend, a tiny club gig at Subterania and then Hammersmith for their Sonic Temple anniversary. I'd forgotten how completely daffy Ian is but Billy is so good at what he does and so clearly enjoys hamming it up for the crowd with a knowing wink. Great stuff

I've seen them several times going back to She Loves Sanctuary. The only time I actually liked them when they opened for Metallica on the "Justice" tour. Love Removal Machine. The last time I walked out on them. It just wasn't good. Primal Scream opened & were fantastic. To each his own.
On the other hand, I would go see BRMC again no problem. I will admit I like their old stuff more but the newer material is still decent. I've written here about it before but 1 of my favorite shows was early BRMC opening for Spiritualized at their trippiest. I had tickets for a recent Spiritualized show but I was ill & couldn't make it. Bummed about that. Hopefully BRMC will do a club or theater show here on their own. I'd go to that if able.
