After 9 hrs at the surgery room, I came home to this vegan pizza from Lidl... “Yay saturday gourmet” Well I was starving, so it was pretty tasty!
This winegum is actually shaped as a pair of scissors, but my youngest daughter couldn’t stop laughing, because she thought it looked like... well... what do you think?!?!... hahahaha
don't feel like eating really so getting inventive. small sandwich with grilled pork chop (carribean seasoning), grilled pineapple, mango salsa & a bit of tex mex/carribean habenero sauce of sourdough. would take picture that is way too tech for me right now.
hit a home run on dinner last night. we have several top notch pizza places close to my abode. i rotate so none of them get tiresome. i've been experimenting with toppings. the one i went to last nights just added mama lil's pickeled goat peppers to the choices. yay! you buy by the slice (they are a giant 14 inches, i cut in half & eat over 2 days). so, i had a basic salad with wine vinegarette dressing. good combo at this place. my slice consisted of spicy sausage, forementioned pickled peppers & pineapple. it sounds weird but is quite good. & few leftover peach/habenero chicken wings. in america there is a tendency at restaurants to give huge portions. due to health & drugs i'm on, i can't eat like that anymore. small portions are the key. so i have pizza for today & this place has passed the crucial pizza day 2 test. critical! its actually better the second day. oh & the peach/habenero wings are really hot. would get the steve seal of approval. the peach part takes some of the sting out but definitely are at the limit of my hot range!

Mmm. I'm of the "fruit has no business being anywhere near meat" school of thinking Although, having said that, I have to concede that chillies are actually fruits

i got the wings at wingstop. they have 9 varieties all the time & usually a special limited one. big poster with the hotness scale. these were 2nd from the top, just below "atomic". i haven't worked up the gumption to try those. i'm a pretty big fan of bbq & small amounts of fruit often times involved with the sauces. if done correctly, quite good. i'm a hot sauce fan but ones that have good flavour that isn't overwhelmed by the burn. & actually these were mango habenero. i got confused as i have some tortilla chips that are peach habenero flavor. both excellent!
