Woke up this morning to it feeling fall-like. Leaves are starting to come down. Cool and windy. I am wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt for the first time in many months tonight. Perfect!
I think it gets hot again in a few days, though...
Currently 93F, but feel like 99 according to the weather app. It sucks out there.
It's disgusting. It's September. Knock it off with this cr@p.
September usually still has some nasty days. All said, we’ve had an easy summer compared to many places. It’s like, at least two showers a day if you go outside, though.

We had a deluge this morning that lasted over two hours during rush hour. It stopped about an hour ago. Large parts of the subway have shut down. I’m on the way to donate blood on the bus, which I was lucky to catch because one that was too full passed by due to people’s commutes being messed up.
From where I sit up in the bus I’ve seen water pouring out of one basement and a business with a sign in the door that said “closed due to flooding.” Supposed to go into Manhattan for an MRI later. Should be interesting.

it has been an Indian summer here at least we are too warm for October...oh well summer took her time arriving so guess she is staying for the after party;)
