Today I have decided to announce that as of now All Living Fear is no more.
It’s been a long decision but the band has gone as far as it can. From writing songs in an attic in Bovey Tracey to playing with a full live band for the first time 20 years later at Whitby its been some ride with many highs and a fair few lows too.
Really if I’m honest the band should have closed in 2007 when we release 15 Years After but being the then stubborn git that I am I wanted to carry on the dream a little longer, and though the MK4 era of the band was very tough at the end we did make one final album that I felt satisfied with and to end playing a big show like that was an honour and a privilege to do.
After WGW we were offered a couple other things and I was very tempted one would have seen us play in mainland Europe for the first time, this was my biggest ambition with the band but all the other stresses and strains of this monster and the scene that in involved are just too much for me now and I had to decline.
So with thanks to the 20 odd people that have been in the band & the people that came to see us is goodbye from All Living Fear. We will still live on via the internet you can listen to all our music via our bandcamp page (as well as buy our cds!) as well as what’s on YouTube and Soundcloud and If I find any more old stuff that may give you all a giggle I will post it all here.
