RIP Norm Macdonald, very funny comedian from Saturday Night Live, etc. Very offbeat humour, was probably the best weekend update announcer the show ever had. He was also picked by Dave to give a monolog on the final Letterman show. A comedian's comedian. He will be missed. Fook cancer!

That Spectrum 48K is my childhood. That rubber keyboard... what a beauty.
So long, Mr. Sinclair.
I loved that machine more than anything. Learnt to code on it - one key BASIC, the games, the peripherals.Everything! When I left school, I went to work for Alan Sugar cos he had just bought Sinclair - I only ever got to work on the 464 though, never the +2
hahaha, POKE... I remember that. You were like my older brother, who also learned everything about BASIC, programming and that stuff. It was alien to me. And still is. I was only interested in that endless river of games

That's the machine code hack for infinite lives in Manic Miner 35188,0 for Jet Set Willy. I played those games far too much...

YEAAAHH, Righht!!! I forgot about that!
I was obsessed with Manic Miner. Jet set Willy was too difficult for me, If I remember correctly.
Another one I burned out was Sabre Wulf... And Atic Atac...
I played a couple of years ago to Manic Miner again in my iPad. It is still as good as it was back in the day.
Sorry, very off topic again.

Nah, not off topic - we only had those games cos of Clive! I remember Sabre Wulf was twice as expensive as Atic Atac and having to save money to buy it. Underworld and Knightmare were next
I don't know anyone who had a C5, I've never even had a go on one. He was years ahead of his time
Almost all my games were bootlegs on recorded tapes. But my fav company was Ultimate and I clearly remember the day my father bought me an original copy of Underwurlde for my birthday. That box, larger than the regular ones and the sleeve illustration blew my mind. What an amazing gift for a 10 years old kid
