Not so secret U2 fan! They are my favourite band (hand's down). I agree with you about the "old school" U2. Zooropa / Pop was the last time the band took a chance / risk. Been five (5) years since the release of their last album (No Line On The Horizon). I just wish Bono would take his head out of his arse and start releasing some of the material they have been recording. He is too wrapped up with being "relevant" but the long they take to release something the more "irrelevant" they are becoming.
That was the one thing that I like about The Cure. The haven't released an album since 2008 but they have been out on the road performing for there fans. Very cool!
