Well I’m in the queue which is now around the corner. Welcome to join me if you’re arriving now! Can’t figure out how to post a pic on here. Am I just being really dense??
I know. Confusing isn't it? I'm using the live stream start time on The Cure's YT channel which is 8pm GMT.
Maybe the stream is delayed?
Maybe but I think Troxy is trying to make sure everyone's in on time. It's like a back stage theatre call. The DSM will give the actors a 30 minute call 35 minutes before the start of a play/ show & continue updating with 5 minutes added just to make sure everyone is in their starting places before FOH gives clearance to begin.
wilgy on the left, you in the middle and is it Dani at the right? has to be, i think Let us know about the merch stand,if they have add any special t-shirt about the event
So… awful venue, one in one out floor standing - if you’ve been there since 11am etc and you want a wee or a beer? Back to the back of the queue for you! I got 4-6 back but security are REALLY precious. If you’re not on the balcony and you’re not in the immediate standing you are f***ed for a view. Brixton would have been a better venue. I can see a lot of folks complaining. I recorded the stage entrance and Alone then left and now can’t see owt. Sounds great though

Well that was truly epic, the set probably wasn’t as dark as I expected but the full play through of SOALW was something to cherish plus wonderful version of Disintegration and getting Secrets was a real treat. Plus I adore M. .
I do appreciate the crafting of pop songs like Friday and The Walk but they do nothing for me live but everyone around was happy so what do I know. Mind you there was loads of people who showed up after SOALW play through who looked like they only knew the big hits and really wondering how they got tickets!
The venue was awful, I didn’t move from my spot as seen the nonsense going on with 1 in, 1 out on the floor and surely if people have queued for hours they could have given them wrist bands or something to identify them and ensure they actually get something for waiting most of the day. I also think at the start they let too many people into the area near the stage.
Three people passed out near me, two guys and a girl and hope they are doing ok now. This happened near the camera area on Roger’s side and the camera operators were absolute heroes helping get them out the crowd. They certainly did more than the Troxy employees.
A truly memorable night and just in awe how the band do such long sets and Robert looked like he would have played for a couple more hours if there’d wasn’t a curfew!
