Since 1998 RS has contributed solo recordings and collaborated with a number of artists on their studio projects; adding vocals and sometimes playing on or producing too.
It all seems to have started with Cogasm and the Orgasmo Soundtrack, though some earlier recordings attributed to The Cure seem to be solo efforts too. (The Xfiles and Depeche Mode songs are apparently solo outings).
Appearances with Blank & Jones, JXL, Earl Slick and others 20 years ago started an interesting series of one-off projects that have continued until fairly recently.
It seems fitting that these get at least an honorable mention somewhere.

Many of those collaborations are mentioned elsewhere on the forum. Just not here, because they aren't albums by The Cure.
Try a board search, although that doesn't always yield results. ....................................... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++👍Of course they're scattered elsewhere. Gathering them into one place seemed sensible. Especially as there are so many.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to have a sub-board somewhere else w/ other projects and collabs for all band members across time b/c when it's just one member, no matter which sole member, it technically isn't news re: TC. I could lose sleep over the fact The Glove appears in the directory tree under "The Cure Albums."
I really like the cover of Purple Haze they did for the "Stone Free" Hendrix tribute compilation. Was it Robert only? (It seems to me a thing he may have done on his own).
I really like "Yesterday's Gone" with Reeves Gabrels (back then not yet a member of The Cure).
Of course, Burn (to my knowledge, it was just Robert and Boris).
Pirate Ships' cover is another one I really like (again, a solitary endeavour of Robert).
Ah, well, back in the old days, the whole side project of The Glove with Severin: I love that album.
Some of these are not collaborations, in the sense of making music with other musicians outside of The Cure, but I included them in the sense that they were collaborations with other projects, beyond The Cure.

There's scope for some wide discussion. Some of the orphaned tracks are banging.
