I go away for a week and The Danio Gang broke the light.
*sigh*
It's an old tank, it dribbles, the lid doesn't fit and the electrics are ... well, probably a bit iffy (never a good idea when mixed with water) ... and one of my mates has her eye on it for her Giant African Land Snail.
Might be time to by the scruffy little oiks a new home.
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
Argh! There would be a Maz shaped hole through the wall!!!
Lol - you've just used one of my best lines! 'Nicky-shaped hole'
I am sh1t-scared of spiders, but once had to get rid of one literally by hand when I lived by myself - I can still feel the bvgger crawling in my fist and can remember the weird stupid shaking hand thing I did when I let it go - it probably died from concussion, I threw it so hard, poor thing so now, if I have a glass handy, I feel omnipotent...I'm like David Attenborough, just on a low budget...
Don't talk of worlds that never were
The end is all that's ever true

L these all inclusives are nice. Not just for Marine too.
Especially if you want to get Cichlids. You know, Angel Fish (are Cichlids) and they might get on with your fishies you have now. They like 7.0 PH. The Discus are nice but they like VERY acidic water. 5.9-6.8 They are pretty, non aggressive but delicate. They are also cichlids. And there are Dwarf Cichlids like Bolivian Rams, Apstogrammas etc... They are small but can be aggressive. Rams are pretty. The bigger Cichlids, especially the Mbunas are nasty buggers. If you get them they should be only with other Mbunas. they will rip everyone's eyes out. Sorry I got carried away. hahaha
I'd love to have Dwarf Cochlids, but the water in my area is VERY hard - and being near London, the Nitrate level in the tap water starts at 35!! YOIKS!!
So all my lot have to be as tough as old boots and able to survive in water that quite frankly, I'm not sure I should be drinking!!
I might get hold of Practical Fishkeeping magazine and see if they'll do one of their tank makeovers... So some other bugger does all the hard work while I make the tea!!
