Looking over my credit card statement. The Canadian dollar is so weak right now. So bad that whatever I purchased in the US was multiplied by 1.4-ish. Eeek! Good thing my sister had a great time, so to me, that makes it worth it.
Btw - I was looking at some of the photos we took during our holiday, and multiple times, our outfits were coordinated! So strange. We are not twins, but maybe we share some sister mental connection.
I’ve learn through the years that I almost need nothing to travel. Very few clothes, wich I wash wherever I may be. Basic toilet bag. A book. My iPad. Everything have to fit in a small backpack.
I’m the same way! Light packer over here too. I feel that if I really need something I can always buy it on the road, and that I can always do laundry as well.
trying to stay warm. my apartment sits on a concrete slab so when it gets cold out the floor stays cold despite the carpet. it's a balmy 27 F out with a much lower wind chill. i thought about going & running some errands but after stepping outside i said f all & went back inside. i didn't have to do anything urgent & whilst the streets have a small amount of snow they are very icey especially when you get off the arterials. time to pick out a movie to watch after what i hope is a lovely nap.

After work, I fully intend on snuggling up on the couch and watch a movie. Stay warm! Btw - I bought a little heater and it works like magic! Not back for $75!
