How many new new songs will they play on the American tour?

To be honest, no. I was hoping for more new material, especially since there is no indication that a new album is actually on the way any time soon.

I would have been fine with no new songs played on this tour if they had announced an official release date for the album.

If it comes out in 2024, the "new" songs will be 2 years old at that point.

Momentum is important.

They have already sort of wasted very good material by letting it out without an album release (e.g. Please Come Home, A Boy I Never Knew, It Can Never Be The Same).

Yes, the latter is in an official live release, but that's different from featuring in a studio album.

Reeves said in an recenct interview that they recorded 34 (!) new songs for the new album(s). I hope they finish the album first, before writing new music again.

Yes, I know. I just wanted to point out, that they wrote plenty of new music and I do not see the need to write even more music, before putting out the new album(s).
