Not much is known about Paris. Sure, there’s a wiki page, but most of that is probably completely wrong so let’s blow the lid off this mystery once & for all.
Born in New York, her dad named her after one of his swanky hotels where you don’t even get chocolate on your pillow, even in the deluxe rooms. She became famous for going out & managed to secure a few movie roles, winning the coveted prize for Best Scream in 2005 for House Of Wax.
After sticking her name on a few perfumes & little bags (known as baguettes in France) she then proceeded to ruin MTV forever before moving on to cooking stuff while wearing her best clothes with her pretend friends.
Interest in her brand was such that the capital of France contacted her & she licensed out her name to them in exchange for keeping her minibar stocked with cans of crappy wine whenever she visited. This is considered the marketing coup of the millennia. Not only was she famous for not knowing what a dishwasher is called, but she now had a city named after her.
Before long, monuments in tribute to star of acclaimed movie The Hottie & The Nottie sprung up all over the place such as the Eifell Tower in all of it’s rusting splendor, the Arc De Triomphe, & the Notre Dame Cathedral which took her catch phrase “It’s hot™” a little to literally.
So seriously does she take her sponsorship role, she’s even had a tiny airport surgically implanted in the ample space in her head.
Of course, wikipedia paints a completely different story totally unchallenged by the media & without even a hint of peer review.
With all this newly found knowledge on board, our intrepid band of travellers, namely fatrabbit , ghost , cats , gentleplodding , faith , bloodflowers78 , lolb , holdenholland & jofigurehead will be tossing their guidebooks in the trash & heading for the nearest place that does good confit de canard and the coldest Bapbap. Hope you all have a splendid time.
The city flag is a curious thing & also the same colours as the Palace home strip. So I’m sold
