You wouldn’t prefer the new songs now that you’ve heard them or you wouldn’t have preferred new songs at all ?
Let's say I'm not very much in love with the new songs.
Anyway, The Cure have so many tracks I adore from so many records that a show based on their back catalogue till Wish, let's say, it would be the best of the shows for me. Those songs means a lot for me, and after Wish, not that much for a variety of reasons. But I understand that people want new songs. Different people want different things. Both are ok. I will happily welcome whatever they play. Yeah, that song included...
They've been playing shows "based on their back catalogue till Wish" over at least the last 10 years!!
It was well overdue to start playing tours based on the new material they've been recording.
This is just the European leg of the Lost World tour, I'm sure they will play the rest of the world next.
Oh that's so cool ! I love Canada, it's such a beautiful country ! I dream of going there one day
It’s a great place if you enjoy outdoor activities. tBH - I’d never really recommend visiting the cities to foreigners, especially to Europeans. They lack…well they’re very modern. Not that interesting to visit I’m afraid. But again, if you like nature and the outdoors, this is the place for you!
I absolutely love nature ! My mother has been to Canada a few times for her job, and she showed me pictures of the Moraine Lake. It's stunning. And I've seen pictures of other lakes and landscapes that seems as wonderful !
Thank you all for being here once again. Been a joy to get to know you even more over the last couple of hours or so. & for any casual lurkers, we don't really eat seagulls You lot are the best laperouse, thanks so much for the updates & the wonderful photos But let's not forget The Cure who can bring a group of strangers together to do this sort of thing. What a band.
Let's get ready for Lyon

It's never a dull moment with the likes of all of you. Love everybody's opinions and interest and wants in here. It keeps things interesting.
I am content with whatever they play at this junction in time. I am lucky to be able to share but a smidge of their huge catalog and in this very moment in time. Whether it be new or old I enjoy their presence in here.
It amazes me that ROBERT still sounds good live, that JASON beating on them drums still rings my ears, that REEVES brings our boys to another level, SIMON still can jump on that speaker and bang it out, Roger still playing them keys...and Perry is there to support!
Thanks steve for the write up...SUper Mario? That block down the pup sure knows his stuff
Thank you for the lovely time...
now it's time to get ready and dream of A fragile thing and Prayers for rain to be played tomorrow!
Thanks for a double show I hope we are leaving the zone of silent and techno shows in venues made of lead and from tomorrow we'll be live again.
One thing is true for sure, everyone can find what they love in these gigs. And it is really marvellous, it's also the answer why The Cure are so incredibly popular after 40+ years of playing...
See you tomorrow in Lyon!
PS. At the end of Milan gig, Robert said that it was his favourite so far. I'm so glad he agrees with me
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.

Alberta (where moraine lake is) is a beautiful province, probably my favourite. I was just there in September.
Oh wow that's so cool ! Well then so now you know that I'm not that far from Spain
We ended up in the woods, in a mountain close to Pau if I recall correctly. The promoter had their house, kind of a cabin there in the middle of nowhere. We were lost the whole night wandering through the wood. Beautiful landscape.
Yes Pau is close to the mountains, there's a boulevard where you can see the Pyrenees in its entirety. And wow this seems quite an experience ! So you were actually lost in a forest. I'm glad you enjoyed it, even though I imagine it must not be fun to be lost. But it makes for fun stories to tell later.
