'Head's on fire' is a reference to From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea non? Seems to be talking about doing the Lat Am DVD. Did they play The Top in LatAm? I have a feeling they DIDN'T but ...

Anyway I think this is all to do with the LatAm DVD. Not quite as exciting as a Top show but still good news to think that it might actually get released

I'm pretty sure they dropped the Top for the LatAm dates.

Thought so - SummerCure 2012 bonus track then. And yes please re-release all the old VHS stuff - I need it for my Video Wall

I remember around 1987 (I discovered The Cure in late 1985). In Argentina, it was available just Concert, Head on the door and Standing, by this time. Well: I was sooo bored with this recordings!!! I wanted hits!! so, by so many months, all these tapes (17", Faith, Porn, Top...) were in this box. One day, I needed some more, so I pick up The Top and played it... OMFG!!! I couldn't believe it!! this tape in my room for so many time!!! Piggy in the mirror!! The empty world!! Dressing up!!!
It was like start again with The Cure... and I never stopped...

In the recent BBC music series with Robert interviewed in what looks like a music/home recording studio there seems to be the same carpet! He probably still has the spinning top, from the Top, and wasn't there a photo shoot around the time of 'Inbetween Days' where he's playing with a spinning top.

However, there is a major problem if Tim Pope is producing more DVDs.......

Just (re)watched the official videos for Lovesong and Lullaby and there they were......Lime Green Socks! hanging up in the caves and slung over the bedside chair.

If no-one has kept the socks there can be no new Tim Pope videos!
