Am I the only one who loves daylight summer time? I find winter time depressing.
I find more depressing to wake up an hour earlier. Waking up early is hard enough even in regular time...
Oh yeah, it is absolutely terrible but it happens only once. And, as far as we change it again for winter, they will give you back that hour.
Last time in autumn I decided to raise my private protest and I didn't set the clock in the oven leaving it with the summer time, so only now I feel that everything is correct.
But I don't see And I don't feel But tightly hold up silently My hands before my fading eyes And in my eyes Your smile
I mistook stars reflected in a pond at night for those in the sky.

To be fair we only lost one hour's sleep. When we switched from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar in 1752 we lost 11 days! The jetlag must have been horrific ;-)
Brace yourselves folks. Except for you across the pond who did this 3 weeks ago. Tonight's the night. If you want to keep that hour in bed, then turn in early.
