I can’t listen to the latest record anymore. It brings back extreme reminders of a place I was living when it came out. I used to listen to that album on repeat for at least 6 hours a day at that stage and it’s ingrained as a reminder of that place. Which is a shame as I love it.
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!
I just hope they come to Madrid this time, I've never had the chance to see them since their reunion. I was lucky to watch them six times on the Angel Dust tour (best one ever, including their epic performance in Sevilla and the three Brixton Academy shows) and then once again with King For a Day, but missed their last tour.
I also love Sol Invictus. Damn, I love this band so much.

6 Angel Dust shows is a good effort!
I missed King For A Day - took a long while for that album to click with me and to my eternal shame I hated the sleeve so just never gave it a chance. I managed to see the Album Of The Year show at Brixton in 1997 - Sparks came out and joined them for the encore. And then a long Patton-free period until we saw Peeping Tom in 2006 - brilliant, obviously.
The Brixton Reunited show in 2009 was probably the last time I had a moment when the crowd surged and when my feet reconnected with the ground, I was standing about 20 feet away - a genuinely scary crush as they went from Reunited into the opening for Real Thing.
Caught them in Paris for a festival show in the summer too.
Liked the last tour they were, dare I say it, almost grown up! Still sounded like absolute monsters though.

Hated KFAD sleeve? That's odd. I've always liked that sleeve so much.
Angel Dust days were amazing, stars alligned and I had the chance to be in all those mindblowing shows that year (Sevilla, Madrid, Barcelona, and the three nights at Brixton). Don't know if you've ever heard about the Sevilla show (I think someone of the band mentions it in the Video Croissant VHS). It was part of the Soundgarden/FNM/G'n'R Stadiums tour. So, everyone in there went to see G'n'R and no one cared about Soundgarden or FNM, nobody knew who they were (except by me and some friends, I guess). FNM started to play and, at the beginning of The Real Thing, suddenly someone threw a bottle. Then another one. And then another one... I started to fear that the band may leave the stage, as little by little, a soft rain of bottles and cans began. But, to my surprise, Patton asked for more, daring the audience to throw everything they could find to them "Bastardos! Cabrones! Más cosas! Hurt me! Muy bien!!" . And then, a HUGE rain of cans, bottles and everything you can imagine was flying to the stage. What a bizarre sight. I learned some years later that something similar happened at the Lisbon show a few days later (there are a couple of videos where you can see the bottle rain), so maybe it also happened at more shows that year, don't know.

I saw Soundgarden do a private warm up show for this tour at a small club. Amazing, probably the best show I saw by them. They were on!!!!
