Probably not too many fans around here but I love them. They have a new album From Here and are touring Europe in October and November. If you only remember them from their 80s crusty rock days you will find that they have evolved quite a bit (or not ).
I used to listen them a lot back in the old days. Lost track after Purity. Still like them, I guess, but haven’t played a record since i don’t know when.
I took some years off from them due to an unsavory incident at a concert, but have got back into them the last few years and they are still churning out some good stuff, I like the new album.
Glad that other people like them. I think all their output from the last 10 years has been excellent. 2013's Between Dog and Wolf is a particular favourite of mine. I think the new album is great but it's time that they explore new directions on the next album.
Saw them live in a small venue in the nineties and it was a hell of a gig, full of energy and good songs. Saw them again ten years later and their energy was still the same. I like Justin, he seems to be a very nice guy.
Raw Melody Men is a cracking live album! First saw them supporting the Cure in 91, seen them a few times since then - always worth it. Justin always comes across as a good egg
I used to follow them quite obsessively in the 80s. First got into them in 85. Haven't been able to see them much since moving to NZ in 1997. But I'm in Europe this summer and will get a chance at the Angeliter Open Air in Germany next week before heading back downunder. Really looking forward to it! Wish I could do Hamburg. Always a great night.
i still like them!! just listened to the new album yesterday saw them first in 1990 in düsseldorf and was such a great atmosphere. had some breaks inbetween but saw justin sullivan solo 2 years ago, and nma in cologne last year, the traditional xmas gig. selected members of audience was a bit annoying at times but truly enjoyed.

Great you get a chance to see them before going back down under.

The gig was great. A bit short but very powerful with a great crowd and location. We got an hour long acoustic set on the Sunday too which made it extra special. Glad I could make it.
The just announced a show with a symphony orchestra at the Tempodrom in Berlin next July. I'm usually not a great fan of mixing rock and symphony but it's a special one-off event with a small club over the same weekend and I can actually make it. So I'm in.
