Arsenal from the 80's and early 90's, the George Graham era. David Rocastle died twelve years ago today, he was only 33 and died of cancer (non-Hodgkin's lymphoma). He was part of the Arsenal team who won the league in 1989 and 1991 and was loved by us Gooners. Back then our team was 99% English with a conveyor belt of talent coming through the youth system. Rocastle, Thomas, Davis and Merson were the best midfield quartet in the country and they all came through the Arsenal youth system - those were the days!!
