Some of you may be aware that at the Hall of Fame other musicians (not necessarily people in the hall) present the inductees. For instance, Dave Grohl & Taylor Hawkins presented Rush. Eddie Vedder has done a few. Who do you think should or do you want to present the Cure? If he were still with us, I would say David Bowie. Sadly that's not the case. This will be wildly unpopular in some circles here (& popular in others) but I think Trent Reznor would put the effort in & do a fine job of it for the Cure. Other thoughts? This could be a good & lively discussion. Do your best. Or worst.
In that case I was going to say the one who really believed in them back in the year 1978 - Chris Parry. But if the question was 'who do you think will' then my answer is total different. We are talking about the U.S. right? Which means 'hype' so in that moment Trent is the one to be. And of course he mill mention for once more when he first met RS (drunk) in a disco/night club (?) and they danced etc. etc. etc.

PS: just got a tape of the set NIN did for meltdown. it was a great set & performance for the occasion.
And I am so tempted to go. I have no problem spending$500 on a ticket for a great seat but I currently have a torn tendon in my ankle and it I will need a ride right to the door no standing and I don't see that happening.
