Bought tickets for an evening with Spiritualized in a tiny theater yesterday. Show isn't until April. On the ugly side: looked at ticket prices for Steve Hackett & Nick Mason (separate shows) in a small theater. They both were too damned expensive. Main floor tickets were way over $100 & bad seats way upstairs were close to $100 by the time you add in the "service" fees. Sad pass on those.
Just bought tickets to see Preoccupations on December 10th at Bowery Ballroom with Mr. K. It will be our first show since we saw our friend Dan's band outside this summer. This will be inside.
Bought tickets to see Mark Morris Dance Group perform L'Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato in March 2022. Will be our first time inside BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) since 2019. I'm stoked to be able to see some of my teachers from the Dance Center performing in this!
They are always good live. Nels Cline is an amazing guitar player & the rest of the band are all excellent players. Glenn Kotche on drums stands out. BTW I ended up eating the War on Drugs tickets. I wasn't feeling well & it was super cold out. I don't handle super cold well anymore.
