Getting my ticket. It's going to rain the entire, 3-day weekend here. This could not be better timed for a theater with food and alcohol on the weekend. I even have some mushroom capsules a friend from OR brought me. Should I????

I remember it as good film, but with a strange –kinda alien– look at the Spanish Civil War. Did you like it?
I don't remember too much of it because it was so long ago. In terms of whether it's actually considered a "good" film by film nerds, alas I cannot say.
I remember having to hide my eyes a lot in the theater because I can't deal with torture-related depictions (not for personal experience just because it sickens me). There's some of that, which I'm not looking forward to.
I think it's a truly fantastic world GdT built. I want to pay more attention to the story this time while also getting to absorb the visual and atmospheric elements of the fantasy.
There's some films I just get really psyched to see on the big screen again as long as the playback quality is worth it.
