Listening to the snippet in the car stereo, the production is great actually. The scratchy/bird noises contrasting with some deep bass.
It really gives you the classic Cure tingling sensation. I'm getting a bit psyched actually..

I enjoyed Alone live but felt they could do a little bit more with it. So yeah, happy with what I've heard from the studio version so far.
Funnily enough I remember thinking that Underneath the Stars was much better live than on the album which also was released a bit later on. Guess we'll know the full story soon…

Wondering if they will do again this nonsense with different tracklists for different countries/markets. In an video interview with NME in the beginning of March 2022 during the BandLab NME Awards, Robert said the album has got a running order and it has got 10 songs. In a later interview with NME (end of May 2022) he said "Essentially it´s a 12 track album". This "essentially" together with the recent potential news the album being released on single LP and double LP makes me think different tracklists could come true.

Yeah the regional variations sucked. I hope UMG don't get the final say.
