Clearly written by someone who wasn't there & is completely incapable of even googling the band. eg

The band and its original members first released its song in 1979 as part of the launch of its first album Three Imaginary Boys. This was followed by the release of the 1982 compilation Pornography.
& let's not forget the first three The Cure singles didn't even appear on TIB
