I could be wrong, but I don’t think you have to register contactless cards anymore, even. I think you can use any UK card and some overseas - there’s info on the TFL website about which cards you can use:

I used to work for a years in Leeds long time ago, but haven't got the chance to visit London so, The first thing I will do, it's going to Big Ben, take a picture of it, and as a massive fan of Peter Pan ( as my daughters), send it to my treasures....
Oh no...I have a horrible feeling that Big Ben is being repaired and is covered in scaffolding at the moment I may be wrong, but I think it was last time I saw it, blackbird . steve , did you take a picture of it last weekend, or am I mis-remembering?
