Thanks, Pipperoo . Let's just say the end of last school year wasn't "smooth" despite his having the best teacher he could possibly have. Just hoping his reputation hasn't preceded him and that he hasn't garnered the nickname "Firestarter" in one day.

I knew the surgery department had a work shop day out of the house, but me and a colleague had to ve on call to emergency surgery - the detail here was just that my colleague wasn’t there!!!
Waited a short while, and texted him...

He was HOME!!! As I was supposed to be, and only go to the hospital, if I was called!!! OTHERWISE I had to go to the workshop 8:30... certainly not at work, as I APPARENTLY wasn’t supposed to meet at...

So today I went to work on a day I shouldn’t go to work...

Did get an opportunity to brush my teeth though, AND we actually had to remove a braintumor on a patient anyway, so in the end it ended “ok”...

Better turning up for work when you shouldn't then not turn up when you should. But damn, I feel for ya! When those external conditions (work) dictate to the internal ryhthms (poop), well, what can I say? That's commmitment. Bravo!

It wasn't bad but it ended great. Went to the old church converted into an entertainment center now called the Houlihand McClean Center. It is funded through Scranton University. They host free concerts there in the fall during university season. We went there tonight to see Juliard Alum Daniel Ficarri play the magnificent pipe organ there. He played about an hour. Played some classical tunes and one of his own compositions. Then he came out for an encore and played this. Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, I was in Goth Heaven.

Sounds like fun. It reminds me of the Halloween Extravaganza at the cathedral of St. John the Divine. They have someone playing the restored pipe organ in accompaniment to a silent movie.

So, how was my day?

Well, got up at 4 o’clock.
Went to a the Cure show in Mexico with my favorite , while putting up laundry to dry, playing air guitar in my fleece pyjamas pants and drinking coffee!

Went to work as usual, and gave my colleagues a WONDERFUL day!

Went home for a quick nap on the sofa

Drove the little daughter to training, and invited myself to coffee at a friend’s house!

Made the big daughter to make dinner!

Will go to bed early with Tolstoj...

I HAAATE PAAAIIINTIIING!!!

One good thing is, that I was able to wrap myself into a surgery down, a paper hat and gloves, so the personal damage was kept to a minimum...

Amazing. I ended my beach vacation with my sister today and got to witness a school of dolphins playing in the water, then got caught in a hurricane of beautiful little swallows flying south for the winter. Thousands upon thousands of them. We just watched in awe in the middle of them as they flew down the beach.

But the best part: I just got a hand written letter from Ian Mackaye of Minor Threat / Fugazi in response to a letter I sent him a couple of weeks ago. I am going to put that letter in our safe deposit box. Wow. I can't believe it. What a nice man.

I had planned to clean the house, because we have been painting the oldest daughters room, so everything i pretty messy.

Well got up and put laundry over.
Went to bed and played Candy Crush for two hours
Drove the oldest daughter to the stable
Went, with the little daughter, to coffe with my colleague
Walked around in the city
Ate an ice cream
Went home and painted my black Starbucks tumbler
Drank a beer
Cooked dinner

Didn’t
Clean AT ALL
put up the washed laundry

It had been a very good day hahaha
