You should get that looked at steve . At our age (think we're approximately the same vintage) that sort of thing tends to come back & haunt you if you don't take care of it.

Swelling's down but I can't pick anything reasonably heavy with that hand or it flares up. It's getting better though. Just need to rest it & keep it iced as often as I can

Can I tell Ya's? Just back from Buckston Abbey...I'm big into the early Christian stuff...huge into it..The GF isn't...I was talking to her about JC and his best friend a beast of a fighting guy called Peter, and how when the riot police turned up to arrest Jesus, Peter got his god damn sword out and sliced a serious cop and very seriously. These elements get lost in the white fluffy clouds of the whole cleaned up Jesus stories...and rightly so...Just like Crass never got played on the radio and so we delved in and got interested..If they'd have gotten on the radio they'd be Green Day and who cares...It's good that the Christian trip is hidden. And then we went into a chapel and the (ahem, ok the Good News Bible' which if any of yas is intersted is just a lie of a corrupted bible) bible was open on that exact story. The trip ended in the bookshop, I asked was there anything on Luciani? I was met with a blank face...like going into a punk shop and asking about the MC5...I'd at least expect some recognition..she in fact looked annoyed with me for asking. Inspiring though..I'm off to google land now for a bit of culture.

Took the spawn to a Dia de Muertos celebration today with some friends. This was put on by a wonderful organization in our old neighborhood that helps Latinx immigrants. I have a soft spot for Dia de Muertos given the time I spent living in New Mexico and the fact Mr. K and I were in Mexico for that day in 2009 on our honeymoon. This was one of the best cultural events I've seen in our city.
