Yeah that was a fun episode.
Was that Anakin, Vader or something masquerading as either at the end?
Right at the closing screen the subs said “Vader’s theme”, or something similar, buuuuuut from what I recall dark siders can’t access The World Between Worlds. Sooooooooooo…
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

It was Anakin. Thankfully they didn't give Christensen too many lines

I hope you're right and the music was a fakeout...

Then Rebels, but I understand it’s a BIIIIIIG commitment.
This is just it though. I have never seen, nor will I watch any of the animated stuff. That way it doesn't grind my gears when the canon is flushed down the crapper & I can just enjoy it for what it is. Unlike this guy who seems to think it's all George Lucas' fault. I wouldn't begin to know the name of every character or plot in the SW universe, but, regardless of who they are, if they have a good story to tell, then I'm all in for the ride.
Anyone seen The Acolyte yet? Acting's a bit ropey & they fridged Carrie-Anne Moss in the first 5 minutes. Hoping it gets a bit more jedi-y as it goes on

I watched the two-episode premier last night. I was surprised that C-AM got it so early on, they really used her face to sell the show, and then BAM! gone... annoying, I like her....
I found it interesting enough to keep me watching, but the thing with The High Republic Era stories that Disney is pushing, is that as it's not the OT timeframe and chars (obviously), they have to build interest up from scratch using only the lore of The Force and the Jedi as the basis, which to be honest, will be a tough sell.
THR comics which I've read didn't grab me as the chars are new and will not have that OT char grab-factor. I doubt that any stories and chars outside of the OT and to a lesser degree PT and CW will EVER have the same pull factor, but that's to be expected.
I'll still watch it all, including what will be another Bob-awful season two of AndBore, because Pew Pew!
I gave eps 1 and 2 a collective total of 6.5 to 7/10.

I think I'm kind of lucky not to be influenced by the comics & can take all these spin offs at face value. Sometimes ignorance is bliss I guess. I'll certainly watch it all too. Just hope the acting improves. I find it quite irritating when characters don't use contractions in their dialogue or just use it on & off. It makes everything sound so jarring.
