Full disclosure: I'm a Luddite. I would rather send smoke signals, use tin cans and string, and read <gasp!> on paper (or papyrus) than deign to use technology. So, I'm fully ready to accept that the problem I'm experiencing with posts is caused by ----- User Error!!!!

Many times I respond to a thread I'm seeing the word "save" appearing at the end of the post. Like here.

Am I doing something wrong and really obvious? Just buggy something?

Help, I'm old!

You are not doing anything wrong. There is another member that had the same problem you are having. Her posts all ended with a glorious, now famous, word "Zapisz" (Save in polish).

I think Steve will fix it for you.

It's something I can't fix unfortunately, but I can tell you what's causing it.
You are using a pinterest browser extension & every time you either quote or edit a post it leaves the word "save" at the bottom.
No-one's entirely sure why, but this is something the extension developer should be fixing.
lioness shone a light on this last year when the word "zapisz" kept popping up. But because the word was actually quite cool, it sort of became "a thing" & I think gongoro73 even had a t shirt made. :-*

If you disable that extension & then try quoting or editing "save" will not appear.

Wow, you techie types are so clever! I actually understand what you are saying, which means you are running the Luddite communication plugin.

I think it must actually be a marker placed by Scientologists, so I'd better get rid of the extension, I reckon. But I do see some potential for having fun with it...

My only worry is if I disable it, how will I pin pictures to my Simple Minds fan board? I think I can live with it.

Yeah, not sure. Other than disabling it every time you leave the SM board I can't think of anything. I haven't even seen anything helpful on any pinterest troubleshooting board.
Not familiar with the extension myself, but is it possible to disable it on certain sites & not others?
