From a paying punter's point of view, over-filling a venue. The last time I went to Rock City was to see the Sisters and as soon as you walked in, it was a wall of people, and I'm not well-blessed in the height department...
I also hate getting a hard time from fans at the front, just because of Steve

The Cure at Rock City in 92 was insane, just rammed and so hot... The Sisters are always good there though! Brixton Academy was notorious for overselling, I remember gigs where you couldnt even push from the bar into the main space..

I'm ok at Rock City if I get a spot on the stairs leading to the bar on the left as you look at the stage
Lads - the drunk ones who sweatily and drunkenly surge from the back to the front cos a big hit is getting played, often accompanied my a "maaaate!"
Lasses - all pointy shoes/heels and jabby elbows as they unpleasantly claw their way to what they consider their God-given rightful place on the barrier. Late.
Both - anyone who flicks their big hair in my face.
I do enjoy deploying my own jabby elbows and DMs when that type of girlie tries to take my spot at the front
The idiot shouting for Pretty In Pink three songs after it had been played, sadly he was not in punching distance.
The Furs were excellent by the way, outstanding set list starting with Dumb Waiters, a long time favourite of mine, and The Ghost In You - stunningly beautiful, Pretty In Pink was like the original version, sax got a bit wonky but still decent .....
Another gripe - "Don't they look old!", well yeah, they are ****ing old!! Time doesn't stop just because you're famous.
And the obvious one, ticket prices - tickets plus merchandise (and alcohol) makes for a very expensive night. Maybe give a free shirt with the ticket?!
Bands make more off merchandise than most realise, especially if the promoter/venue take the lions share of the ticket sales/door. More so for small bands but it can make quite a difference in what the band come away with. So no freebies
