Yeppers. I'd happily admit to seeing Madonna (who was rubbish btw) rather than waste any sort of money on those talentless charlatans.
I saw the Stop Making Sense tour about a week before filming. It was a pretty intense show. David Byrne is too New York artsy for me though. You know, everbody who bought drugs in the line for CBGBs (disgusting) bathroom is in the Rock Hall of Fame. Cultural imperialism at its worst. I wouldn't mind seeing Madonna. The 1 time I had the chance was in Las Vegas. The choice was a crappy seat for huge $ for Madonna vs an incredible seat for realistic $ to see Prince the same night. In a smaller venue. I went with his purpleness. He never disappointed me in concert. The "freak" show for Madonna in the MGM Grand casino was surreal though! Freak meant in best way.
No saw Johnny Cash in the city I live in. He played about 600 m from my appartment (how far out is that) However, he was sure he was in Sweden, and not in Denmark hahaha...
But, seeing as 2 people guessed Jeff Buckley - I saw this show:
Yeah, I realized I was a little late... hahaha Have been shopping with my oldest daughter, so I haven't been online. I have been spending all my money instead...

Edit: I saw btw U2 in hmmm 1994 the zooropa tour
I saw U2 in a pub in Brighton when they were still wearing those polo neck jumpers. Yes, I'm old.

That was before Bono became annoying i guess hahaha
I'm guessing Ninja hasn't seen Bowie and Laney hasn't seen Placebo.
Here's an unlikely list of bands I've seen, one of which is a massive lie:
Spice Girls Chris De Burgh Nirvana Burt Bacharach Hall & Oates Tony Bennett The Nolan Sisters Kylie Minogue Jeff Buckley U2
Saw a lousy concert with Bowie on a cloudy sunday afternoon at Roskilde.
I'm sorry you didnt get a good Bowie show. I was lucky & saw him a whole bunch from about 1982 until the last tour. All sorts of different situations. He was always stellar. Even the Glass Spider tour, haha.
