What do you want to accomplish this coming year?

After spending some more time on youtube and watching the acoustic set Robert did when the equipment failed, I decided I want to relearn how to play the guitar... like, learn for real this time...

That's a nice goal Laney. I grew up playing the violin and for some reason I have a lot of difficulty getting used to the strumming patterns that guitar uses. I have a ukulele (hmmm, 2 actually) that I keep picking up every couple months to practice on, but I'm such crap it makes me so frustrated. My post-dissertation wish is actually to pick up my violin again but learn how to play bluegrass. Beethoven is lovely, but bluegrass is where the fun is for fiddlers

sang , I've always wanted to play the violin... I'm just terrible at learning new things... I've tried learning new languages before... both Spanish and French... I think both of my teachers gave me a passing grade just because they felt bad for me...
I had a hard time taking guitar lessons... my fingers just wouldn't work...
So now I just stick to creative writing and community theatre...

I have more goals too...
like get a passport
submit my book to publishers
....finish my book.
go to England
open a theatre for people with disabilities
go to Sweden
read more books
find Robert Smith
re-learn how to play Out Of This World on the guitar
find a love like Robert and Mary's
be nicer to people
de-clutter
have a full conversation with Robert Smith
not eat as much candy as I do now (as I just put a handful of peanut mnms in my mouth).
save money
get out more
become good friends with Robert Smith
get at least 100 followers on instagram
or maybe not be so addicted to social media
lick Robert Smith's face
grow my hair out
not be so obsessive...

oh man... the list goes on and on...
