GW13 done & dusted & just what the heck happened?
The early game at Turf Moor saw Burnley stun Citeh with an early goal, but injury doubt, Aguero, stepped up a gear to grab a brace & FPL managers up & down the country were left sobbing after benching him &/or taking the alice band from him.
Spurs became the first team in ages to score a goal against Chelski, but the blues managed to claw back to win & hold the top spot in the league.
Sunderland rolled a double decker bus in front of their goal at Anfield that took Liverpool 75 minutes to negotiate to stay hot on Chelski’s heels while Leicester rescued a rare domestic point thanks to a last minute penalty against Boro.
Hull, who had a surprisingly bright start to the season, struggled to grab a draw with the Baggies, while game of the weekend saw Palace come back from 3-1 down to lead 3-4….. & then promptly lose 5-4 in the last 2 minutes of a goal-valanche at Swansea
Sunday’s games saw Watford fail miserably to hold off Stoke while Arsenal, thanks to Sanchez, saw off Bournemouth to keep pace with the top 3.
Koeman’s return to St Mary’s was spoiled in the forst minute by Charlie Austin’s lone strike, but story of the week was Man Untidy v an out of form West Ham. The Hammers took an early lead only to have it cancelled out on 21 minutes by that Swedish bloke no-one likes. However, the game did feature a screamer of a shot which proved to be JoMo’s last kick of the game
But what of the FPL?
UPDATE!! Results are now up
So, to the Stadium Of Faith, where we don’t need floodlights, as we’re goth as feck for GW14.
I understand there’s mulled wine this week as we move into the festive season & we’ve even gone to the extent of painting the lines on the pitch with glitter.
So welcome everyone to your GW14 thread
