Although I was a CCC-member, I realized that I never properly introduced myself here...
So here I go.
I'm a cure fan since the late 80's, but I definitely got into them 15 years ago. Since then, I managed to see them a bunch of times live at work. There’s not a day that goes by without listening to some live work of them (yes, I’m one of those “freaks” who back in the days started collecting the live recordings…).
My avatar is a portrait that a psychiatric patient made of me. Can you believe I’m a natural blond? Lol. I guess that’s how much I like Robert and co… ;-)
Very nice portrait. It resembles the paintings of the earlier periods of Picasso. Did your patient left the drawing unfinished, with just one eye and the right side plain? Any specific reason for it?
Hi gongoro73. Thanks. Yes indeed, strange that she didn’t “finish” my portrait, unlike all her other paintings that I have in my living room… Can’t ask her any more though; she passed away a couple of weeks ago in one of our facilities. She was a retired teacher at the academy and for years and years when we passed each other in the hallway, she always claimed that I had a head that had to be painted. Glad she finally did…

That's a sad story. Glad she did it before she passed away...
