No rest for the wicked as the band head South to one of the most famous cities in the world, Rome. Many believe the origins of Rome trace back as far as 2000 when Maximus Meridius ended Commodus’ life in a packed Colosseum. But this is a common mistake, as records show that even as early as 1959 Charlton Heston was just as active in the city doing his bit for men’s skirts & pimped out chariots.
Okay so Rome wasn't built in a day, but, 16 years isn't bad going!!

The day after Bologna, I took my train with my friend and went to Rome, a little worried, because in the morning another earthquake happened (we felt it a littlr also in Bologna, in bed) and people got mad and said that the whole Rome was blocked and the concert could be deleted, but when we arrived everything was quiet, luckily, and we could go and enjoyed another Cure evening <3
We arrived around 18 and we got a place in the crowd better than in Bologna lol People around me a little strange, but then everything started and **** everyone, also this evening has been special, I am very glad I heard the new songs, I saw Robert got emotional, touched by Charlotte Sometimes, sincerely played better than in Bologna, in Bologna when it started I thought was A Strange Day ahah! I danced and laughed and cried also this evening, well I cried also the day after in front of the Colosseum lol
Anyway, it's been wonderful also to hear live for the first time in my life also Kyoto Song, and of course, when it started One Hundred Years I was soooo happy During Wrong Number, when Robert sang HELLOOO, nobody was replying -.-" SO he started to say it in italian, PRONTOOO, PRONTOOO, I WAS DYING, it's been so funny, even if I really don't like the song, I took pics in that moment ahah! That later I sent to wilgy of course ahah!

Back home a few hours ago! very very good concert... but the sound it was not as good... My wife's first concert since Buenos Aires 18/3/87!!
Yes, this venue is famous for the bad sound... Sincerely I didn't notice it so much with The Cure, but I noticed it A LOT with The Twilight Sad, a lot of echo!
I hope your wife enjoyed anyway, Rome is always the worst everything in Italy ahah
It was my concert nr 15, the day after Bologna. Personally it was a great event, with my partner and all my dearest friends coming back to Rome for one of the passions we have shared during our life together. I bought a ticket for my nephew too, he is 20, he knows how much i am involved with The Cure. I wanted him to attend to their concert at least once (hopefully not the last, but who knows...). Back to the concert, it was good, 10 songs different from the previous night in Bologna. I honestly prefer the Bologna setlist, even if Robert voice seemed in a better shape compared to the night before. I must say that for the first time i had not the feeling that something special was happening in a Rome concert, it was in some way 'ordinary'. By the way, it is always special for me, they are the soundtrack of my life, always the right sound for each important step i had to live. And I already look forward to attend my number 16... and 17... and...
