Robert said in an interview a couple of years ago that he didn't mind the attention - he actually likes it when they are doing stuff with The Cure. It should be kind of mental when he does something with the band.
He also said he thought it was strange when people camp outside his private home - and he's just doing the gardening

Hi all. checking in. i have a huge college football game in half hour so i'm probably not going to be here much. my team (Washington) is # 4 in the country & playing Utah (#17) in Salt Lake City. Huge game. good thing its not here. it is wrath of God raining. i went out & got chores done early so i get to be lazy now. maybe the band will play something noisy & depressing as revenge. a fine time for Faith/Pornography or perhaps Kiss Me finally.
