Tonight, the capital of Bavaria welcomes The Cure for another round. It’s Munich, which, in Bavarian, is Minga.
Munich has a rich musical history, being the birthplace of Richard Strauss (no relation to Levi), but more notably. the birthplace of Seven Of Nine from Star Trek Voyager!
But what really puts Munich on the map is beer. Yep, the Oktoberfest (in September, but who cares, it’s beer right?) is the largest beer festival in the universe where traditional beers are quaffed at an alarming rate for almost 3 weeks solid &…..did I mention beer yet?
To go with their fermented hoppy/ malt beverages figurehead82 , Kea , silversand (possibly…maybe…we’re not too sure), jofigurehead , laperouse , Millhaus , kauderwelsch & ruegi will no doubt be chowing down on white sausages ahead of the show at the…where was it again…oh yes Biergarten.
So, all the best to them for a belter tonight & a lovely stein or two of cold refreshing beer too
