Hello. I love you. Let me tell you my name.
I was scottm at CCC and decided to try something tricky, so I picked scottm. I hope I didn't lose anyone!
I think its awesome you guys are keeping the spirit and comradery together with this (is it new?) forum.
For those who never met me or wished they didn't or those who just like hearing me say things they already know... I've been a fan of the Cure since 1991 when a college roommate lent me a Disintegration tape (we once had things called tapes) and I played it until it stretched more than the octomom's uterus.
I once ran a site of my own called Mr. Monte Halls' trading page or something silly like that. That's when we took these ancient things called "CDRs" and traded them by way of a legacy system called "mail" (no, there is no "e" in front of mail), and waited (for weeks) to hear new concerts. LONG before sites like CCC dedicated entire forums to hosting live concerts by tour.
Around 2004 or so, I posted heavily at Dominic's site, the curiosity forum.
Around 2008 I joined CCC and found a wealth of writers, artists, and friends. A few of those friends have become my best friends.
I play guitar (badly), read science fiction and horror, love comics (and write them, check out www.remnants-comic.com for the best comic you'll ever read), and am occasionally into space, telescopes and physics in general.
I speak a little German, but frankly, I think I remember about 20 words. Es tut mir leid...
I wish you folks here the best and hope to post a little more often than I did at CCC.
