I first encountered them (outside of a zoo) when living in Fort Worth. The apartment complex gave strict instructions for the rubbish to be put out at a specific time for collection. If it was out after collection the trash pandas would turn up & scatter it all over the place. They are quite cute though.

They are a huge problem here. Groups of them will be wilding at night in people's yards. They're really bold and can be rabid. This happened in our neighborhood 10 years ago. Imagine waking up to that!
