Blimey!! That jump saved it's life by the looks of it: better to jump through glass than go under the wheels!!

The deel probably saw the bus, saw the reflection of the trees, etc in the glass and made a jump for the 'trees'.
This is why animals run into plate glass doors and birds fly into windows: they see the reflection of the surrounding landscape and think it's a clear path forward.
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
