The remastered 3CD set of disintegration. It sounds better than I remember it did back in the day. Pretty good actually. Maybe because I changed equipment inbetween. Held off buying it because I didn't like it back then, but got it now for only 5 euros new so couldn't pass. Was surprised it came in fat jewel box. Better that way.
One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain So hit me with music, hit me with music
Where, pray tell, did you come across that, czuczu !?
I won it at a church carnival two towns over, in a truth-telling contest!
Tiny Changes, the Mental Health charity set up after Scott Hutchinsons death, ran a blind auction by email. Can't remember how many they had but more than one, signed by all the bands on the bill and and as I was there I put in a carefully calculated lowest possible successful bid and ended up with #7
Weirdly, I think I only ever saw a single tweet about it and an Insta post that was then deleted so it never made much of a splash newswise.
Looks the business though, the pictures really don't do it justice.

That's really an amazing story. Good for you!!!!! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at all jealous.
I was on a rare family day out yesterday..real nice, sat out on a high street drinking with old folk telling me their stories of 60 years ago...absolutely beautiful day. Some of those stories..ha..Ok...Cure purchase...An antique shop with a The Top related 12" for dirt cheap...and an Emerson Lake and Palmer record for £3. Thing is, I'll probably never even play the Cure record, I'll play the ELP one loads, I do like that band. (and yes, of course I've already got that ELP record three times, but not this pressing!)
So many times I've thought to pass on my Cure 12"'s...I just don't play 'em. Big part of my problem with new vinyl is that they are just a double 12" pack and who wants to be turning a record over after 12 minutes...give me 20 please...I don't play 12" singles, so I'm putting it in the collection like a baby photo of when she's now 6...never to be looked at, always to be there.
My other..not exactly a purchase..but I found it in stock..the Cure lyric book up to Disintegration - I started dealing 20 odd years ago and sold Paris vinyl for £10, Wild Mood Swings for £6!!! I had to...Princes Youth Trust had me down as a go-to-Amsterdam-with-the-grant guy and wouldn't help me. Prejudice...Hippy prejusdice is all, They'd be screaming for me today...I'm rambling aren't I? Sorry folk, sometimes it's like an open diary here
So I just found an unsold lyric book in old stock with a £6 price sticker on it...Smiley face..this one is now going on my bookshelf. : )
