Holders, Spain, only just scraped past the Czechs but it's still 3 points. Ireland effectively nullified Zlatan's Sweden, but had to settle for a draw after scoring at both ends. Germany & Italy, showed everyone why they are favourites & West Ham's Payet, unleashed a screamer to take the spoils for France in their opener. Albania & Turkey were both defeated, but their opponents didn't look too convincing. Possible first match nerves? We shall see. Northern Ireland put in a strong showing against Poland, but an impressive Milik nabbed a second half winner there. & what of the three lions? Well, despite a wonderful free kick from Dier, they'll feel slightly aggrieved at conceding well into stoppage time & no matter how many times you say the word "positives" in post match interviews, it's not the same as scoring goals really.
