There is always 1 show which is very different than the other ones, e.g. Charlotte, 2008, Kiel 1996. My guess for this year is Chula Vista or Boston will be a different one before the 3 shows in LA or NYC...
Vegas is set up nicely for something like this. No show the night before & 3000 seat venue. Tickets are certainly expensive on the ticket broker sites. I paid plenty for balcony reserved from a broker in February (not out of control though) & similar seats are going for double that now. We can only hope...
If I were to pick a Texas show that might have an unusual or darker set list I would pick Austin over Dallas. During the 4Tour Austin had a somewhat darker set list whereas Dallas had the more poppy one.
It will be interesting to see how it all pans out though as Austin, Dallas and Houston had varying set lists on the last tour. It will be exciting to see what they play and if they switch it up for each city like they did last time.
And the wait won't be too much longer as the shows are this week!

I'm thinking tomorrow would be a most excellent time to debut "The Kiss" this tour!
This. I've been watching the setlist hoping to see The Kiss pop up. They have been rotating between Plainsong, Open, and Out Of This World for their opener. I'm happy with all of those but The Kiss is what I'm praying for.
He said once he really liked Boston, they've played here almost as much as any other place in the US other than NYC/LA. He knows with our frozen northern blood we need Cure songs to bring us alive. I think the crowds here are really good for The Cure. Plus gives them a chance to do whatever they want before settling in to 3 nights in NY, where they I imagine will have a more defined agenda so to speak.
Could be wishful thinking since I'm going to the Boston show, but still my instinct.

With all the different songs being thrown in it may be difficult to narrow it down to one. If this does end up being their last tour they are going out with a bang.

They are certainly putting my crystal ball through its paces. Every show is a surprise. If they do go mega "unusual" I reckon it'll be 3rd MSG show
