Late to the game for this, but I don't see it here as spotted already: "Siamese Twins" used as a soundtrack song in a season 1 episode of the U.S. television series The Americans.
The marriage of the principal couple, Russian-born spies now deeply embedded in American daily life as travel agents with 2 kids, is in some trouble, when "Siamese Twins" starts up. Robert's voice and the lyrics add to the emotionality of the scene.
Something for the Gabrels / Bowie fans, Nicholas Pegg (respected font of Bowie knowledge) spends a bit of time pondering the Bowie and Cure dynamic and points out some similarities between 90s Bowie and the gloomier corners of the Cure.
Last night's episode of Strike. Robin poses as a goth to get a shop job & tells Strike her favourite band is The Cure. But nothing after 89. Favourite album is The Head On The Door & favourite track is "Push...hands down mate, no contest"
So you may or may not know I've been dabbling in writing, producing, mixing and mastering etc... my own music. I LOVE Warren Huart. I think if you needed to learn how to do it he is the best on the net. I have been following him since January 2018. He is an actual record engineer, mixer producer etc... but also knows the digital world VERY well. I have learned most what I know so far from him. I am a member of his academy which is a little over $100 a year but you do not have to be to check out his instructional videos. He teaches like he is an actual engineer (which like I said, he is) not just a you tuber who thinks he knows what he's talking about. He really does. Not sure if it was my nagging or constant mention of The Cure but looky here?! Way to go Warren!
Oh and PS of COURSE I mentioned us in the comments.
