In the Daily Mail on Sunday's YOU mag a coupla weeks back there was a feature where celebs share their treasured possessions and memories called Emotional Ties. It featured Christina Strutt a designer and head of the lifestyle brand Cabbages & Roses. One of her items was a model of a dog.. details as follows (sorry unable to scan or add pic) This dog was given to me by former Cure member Perry Bamonte - he made it from a champagne cork and modelling clay. I first met him many years ago when he was staying at a house I was helping to decorate in Somerset.
I sat through a mind numbingly shiat film called The Vow, it really was awful but right at the end they played Pictures Of You, which really made me smile, but still not sure it was worth sitting through that awful drudge for!!!
Defiance, recorded from earlier today -- Lovesong got played right at the end, was a proper Lovesong introduced by a DJ in 2066 or whatever year they're in. "I have a real treat for you, some old world vinyl ........" says the DJ.
Paul, what part of Athens? I am known to linger round the squares in the summer, Omonia and Syntagma that is. I just love seeing them guards with the big pom poms on their shoes!

It's not so far from Syntagma. Through Ermou Street right down to Monastiraki. There it is. Very nice place. Although I know about some more "alternative" places in the proximity...
An impression of sound Then everything is gone Forever
On TV right now! "Palladia" (music channel in US) was translating Hurricane 2012, and I had to wait for about two hours of horrible music to finally listen to The Cure, but it was worth it Three songs only: Lovesong, Friday and Wrong Number. And of course my husband had to ruin everything. He was playing "Battlefield" in the same room and asked about Robert Smith: "Oh my, who is that scary guy?"
On a report from opening of the Barbie house in Berlin, they've played The Lovecats And on a documentary about couples, where the man is much younger than the woman, they've played Lullaby Saw from both a repeat
I walk wondering why, the same dream so many times
