not a bad GW for me (better than Liverpool's real world "adventure" at any rate) 43 points overall. moved up in all my leagues (except H2H i've given up even checking that) 6th in ours now and only 3pts behind Jo in 5th place. i notice that in the 5 places above me only GOD isn't IGM....
Not to worry, you all have a whole day to recover before GW28 gets its boots on.
The Foxes hold firm at the top thanks to a late Ulloa strike as the Hammers move closer to a European spot with a win over their old gaffer’s mob. Chelski left it late to continue their resurgence having finally ditched the Zorro disguises. Spuds, meanwhile, with their own ninja turtled masked Harry Kane brushed the Swans aside to keep up the pressure on Leicester. Despite a second half comeback, Palace couldn’t overturn the Baggies’ 3 goal advantage leaving Pardew wondering what on earth has happened. Captain Troy Deeney & his partner Igloo drew a blank at home to Bournemouth enabling the Potters to carry on their climb thanks to an Arnautovic brace. & in the “big one” at Old Trafford, the Stretford End’s new hero, Rashford, netted twice on his PL debut to sink the Gunners in a game in which LVG showed off his knowledge of the Tiswas Dying Fly dance routine.
In the FPL, despite a slew of absent stars due to postponements, some healthy scores were chalked up with the final results as follows:
EIB 436 - 442 IGM Earning a slender win of +6 points to the IGM & nudging their overall lead up to 218 points
The stays with iesus’ Meteora Heartland FC with the ringing out to limur’s Tangerine Team for a sturdy 60 points.
In the H2H, the EIB took the week 18-15 to extend their lead in the table to 47 points The stays put however, as iesus’ Meteora Heartland FC hold the top spot by 3 points.
So how will our heroes do this week? Will Untidy maintain their horniness? Will Liverpool get revenge on City? Can the Spuds keep up the pressure on the Foxes?
Over at the shed, I had to buy a new pad lock for the door, as some prankster jammed the old one up with bubble gum. This wouldn't happen in Singapore you know The pitch is a bit cut up & the race is on to get it ship shape for the weekend. I may need to put strips of green carpet in some of the holes, so don't look too closely
& as the gates swing shut, a new thread awaits, so chop chop everyone. Get Rashford in before his value doubles
