Nat had a bleed on his lung & had to have surgery. The surgery was simple but successful. However this has set him back quite a ways & means he'll be kept in hospital for weeks.
edit. I know curefandocumentary had the idea of sending him something from all of us & that gave me an idea that Kate thinks could be a nice touch. I'm going to make a compilation of new music that he likely hasn't heard & send it so he has something to take his mind off all the nurses & machines that go ping. If any of you have a couple of tracks you'd like to add then PM me a link to them (preferably in a lossless format) & I'll add them. That way he'll have a compilation from the community. Of course, if you're in direct contact & want to send it directly, go for it. The more music the better
Hi sadly no good news, Nathan was sedated last Sunday and hooked up to a respiratory machine. He couldn't breathe properly and needs oxygen to heal the lung luckily it wasn't bad enough to need a tube just an oxygen mask. We are hoping the mask can come off early next week but I don't think he'll be home until next month. Ironically Nathan received a vaccination date the other day, everything working as usual over here !!

I got similar message around the same time. I'm trying not to bother her but want her to know she has support out in the world. I think she appreciates it.
Yeah. I'm checking in every now & then. I think Kate's got enough to deal with without being constantly hounded. I'm sure she passes on the messages too & that they all know we are all rooting for them
Nathan will be off the respirator tomorrow (Monday), he will still need to take oxygen just not permanently. If all goes well he may be home at the end of April but it looks certain he'll have permanent lung damage, not sure yet how badly this will affect him but it's the best news we've had in a while.
