Hmmmm, I’m not much of a wine person unless it’s a super posh restaurant with pairings, but I feel like my Italian-ish husband would say something like Montelpuciano or Sangiovese. So there!

Hmmmm, I’m not much of a wine person unless it’s a super posh restaurant with pairings, but I feel like my Italian-ish husband would say something like Montelpuciano or Sangiovese. So there!

I'm slightly happy because it's Friday. I intend to do absolutely nothing tomorrow, at least in terms of duty, necessity, tasks... I'm so glad that I could even sing Friday I'm In Love

My decorating quote was approved. Have to buy all the paint & stuff this weekend before the non essential stores all close
Apart from painting, what else are you doing to your home ?
It's not for my home. I look after a house for a Hungarian friend who lives in London. She lets it out in the summer & it's starting to look a bit scruffy. So I have to have the upper floor painted before guests start coming in June.

It seems like a lot of work to take care of a vacation rental. Yeah, now I remember there was an awful rainstorm or something and you had to take care of the electricity there a couple of summers ago, maybe? Feeble memory.

That's right. The lightning threw all the breakers & I had to go & throw them all back again. I got really wet that night, but the guests were great & they invited me in to get dry & gave me a lot of palinka. It's her house & she only lets it out to have money to maintain it really. It hasn't been decorated in 5 years & when you have a hundred or so people use it over the summer it gets a bit bashed up & we want good reviews on letting agency site
