The dead can dance SACD's from 2008 are so disappointing. Very compressed with no dynamics whatsoever, but mastered at low volume to somewhat hide the fact. One can hear every detail for sure but everything's at equal loudness. And the remastered CD's are the same, only louder. Perhaps I have to look for the early CD's. That said, there's two recently added live albums from 2005 on spotify that I just discovered, a nice addition to their catalogue.

Think 2005 was the tour I saw. They were interesting but the tickets were rather expensive at the time.
I have to be in the mood for them, especially their later stuff. Saw them twice in 1987 and 1990 and both shows were fantastic. Would love to see them again.
