I really can't believe that there is no new product coming. seriously doubt that they will ever do a tour of this magnitude again. as I said elsewhere no new record this year almost certainly means no new record ever. really hope not.
I cannot see them doing a tour of this scale again & fear this could be a swan song
Yep, I was afraid of writing about this in my last post.
But, to my thinking, seems very unlikely doing a large-scale tour without a new work under their wing.
I might be wrong, but I can't see any sign of a new album to be released this year. The tour is simply called "The Cure Tour 2016", the artwork / Cure logo is not new. We're three months ahead of the first gig and there are no news of even a new single. I don't know, it just don't look like there's an album coming.
Maybe, but if they're are recording or just finished a new record, why keeping it in secret three months ahead of a massive World Tour? It makes no sense to me.
the cure sell out most every night without realising new stuff or advertising very hard, but something new will be played on this tour, new to the audience anyway..
Whilst I'm pleased for others that they are adding more dates, I can't help but think that they're gonna be cream-cracked by the time they play in England. Just hope they don't so a Status Quo and end up playing on bar stools 'cause they can no longer stand too long...

I can't believe they'll do a tour of this magnitude again. We never know what's going on in Roberts mind, he's clearly planning something. I can't believe a tour of this size is for greatest hits either.
I mean this is really shaping out to practically a whole year on the road!

I think Robert & Co. are aware that a very long tour, like this, with few days off between shows, will be travelling from one city to another, means almost no proper resting time.
So, sooner or, hopefully, later, the tiredness will appear.
They´re not newbies, so they should have everything under control.
