Me too. But it's somewhat "dark", isn't it? Somehow I've always had the feeling, it's about suicide. I could be wrong of course. But it's one of my very favourite (Cure) songs.

It is about some end(ing), definitely.
An impression of sound Then everything is gone Forever
And IMHO I think this album represents Roberts true personality. That's why I like it so much. Any time you reveal your darkest self in song it's a master piece.

I have Always had that though too. Maybe Because I connected so Well with it at a time where I Went through a very deep depression. No matter what, it is an amazing song and album
The world is neither fair nor unfair - It's just us trying to feel that there's some sense in it
I've never thought of this as a downer song or it being dark - I've always thought it was quite an uplifting thing - what with the kissing, playing, laughing, dancing, cherishing and all that. Even the ending, remembering a song, is a very gentle nostalgic touch. And the solos are lovely open spirally things compared to the claustrophobia of the rest of the album.

Definitely a favourite.
^^^^^^ This. It's certainly one of the less bleak moments on the album

not, for me at all. the other songs have anger in them. as long as you have anger, there are still have hope. you are still able to react.
this song for me is full of surrendering. feeling everything and nothing at the same time. there are only feelings in the moment. no anger, no hate, only wonder and in some way love.

Well, it is more "resignation" than desperation (which the rest of the album largely is). It has more of a feeling of contentment than, say, One Hundred Years
